Antioxidants counter harmful effects of free radicals
Inside your body, an army of antioxidants is protecting you from the forces of aging and disease. So start filling your body with intake of food high in antioxidants, especially nutrients like selenium, vitamin E, vitamin C, carotenoids, isothiocyanates, polyphenols, and coenzyme Q10. Topical antioxidants block free radicals in the environment and keep them from penetrating deeper into the skin. Scientists have also figured out how to shrink antioxidant molecules so they can enter through pores. Using antioxidant-rich products like sunscreen, night cream and wrinkle cream will also help.
